Northeast Association of REALTORS® names new CEO

Westford, MA – March 15, 2025 – The Northeast Association of REALTORS® has named Whitney McNamara as its new chief executive officer. She will join the association on March 17.

“After an extensive national search, we are thrilled to bring Whitney and her deep association experience to NEAR,” said Brandon Sweeney, NEAR president. “Her understanding of REALTOR® associations, stra-tegic vision and track record in pioneering programs that meet members’ needs will enable her to hit the ground running. She will ensure that NEAR continues its rich tradition of serving its members and our communities, and advocating for private property rights.”

McNamara previously served as the Director of MLS and Education Services for the REALTOR® Associa-tion of South Central Wisconsin and MLS. She also served as the Education Program Director for the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS®.
