At the heart of any vibrant community lies the spirit of giving, and at NEAR, we're proud to embody that spirit through our recent food drive initiative. Coordinated by our dedicated Community Service Committee, this annual endeavor aimed to make a tangible difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity in our region.

The results? Simply astounding.

Together, with the support of our generous members and community partners, we raised nearly 3,500 pounds of food and $650 in donations for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank. This remarkable outcome speaks volumes about the compassion and commitment of our association members toward addressing the pressing issue of hunger in our communities.

The Merrimack Valley Food Bank plays a vital role in our region, providing nutritious food to food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and other programs serving individuals and families in 32 communities across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. By supporting their efforts, we're not only helping to alleviate immediate hunger but also fostering long-term stability and well-being for our neighbors in need.

Our community service initiative reflects the core values of the real estate profession, which extend far beyond buying and selling homes. It's about building and nurturing communities, lifting each other up, and creating a brighter future for all.
