Annual Awards Gala Celebrates Member Excellence

4/11/2024

NEAR recently hosted our highly anticipated Annual Awards Gala, a prestigious event that drew over 300 attendees from the real estate industry. Held at the Andover Country, the gala served as a platform to honor and celebrate the outstanding achievements of more than 475 top-producing real estate agents and teams.

Among the highlights of the evening were the presentation of special awards recognizing exceptional individuals who have made significant contributions to the real estate community. Kristen Keegan was bestowed with the coveted REALTOR® of the Year award, a testament to her exemplary professionalism, dedication, and volunteer investment to the REALTOR® associations at the national, state, and local levels.

In addition to Kristen's recognition, several other deserving recipients were honored for their remarkable accomplishments. Emily Chapdelaine was named Rookie of the Year, acknowledging her rapid ascent and promising future in the real estate industry, achieving more than $8 million in sales in her first full year of real estate. Mary Schruender of Guaranteed Rate received the Affiliate of the Year award, recognizing her invaluable support and contributions to the success of the association and her volunteer investment over many years.

The spirit of community and philanthropy was also celebrated, with Hollie Williams receiving the Good Neighbor Award for her selfless efforts and commitment to making a positive impact in the community. Not only was Hollie recognized for her work with the Joseph N. Hermann Youth Center in North Andover, but as NEAR's Good Neighbor, she also received a $500 donation to that organization. Matt Milonopoulos was honored with the True Professional Award, recognizing his unwavering commitment to excellence and integrity in all aspects of his work.

Michelle Oates was presented with the Distinguished Service Award, acknowledging her outstanding leadership and dedication to advancing the goals and mission of the association, membership tenure, and volunteer investment as a long-time member of NEAR's Grievance Committee as well as a former Director. Lastly, Alyson Traficante was recognized as the Innovator in Marketing, applauding her creative and forward-thinking approach to marketing within the local real estate industry.

As the evening unfolded, attendees were inspired by the stories of success, dedication, and innovation showcased by the award recipients. The gala not only served as a platform to honor excellence but also as a reminder of the collective strength and spirit of collaboration within the Northeast Association of Realtors community.

With the conclusion of another successful gala, we looks forward to continuing its mission of supporting and recognizing the achievements of its members, while also striving to elevate the standards of professionalism and service in the real estate industry.
