This course provides an overview and history of the Fair Housing statute, which prohibits all types of discrimination in the selling, renting or leasing of housing accommodations, commercial space or land intended for use as such.  Learn who the protected classes are, insurance coverage options, what you can and cannot say and how to avoid serious liability.

Find out the rights of individuals with disabilities: who is protected, what property is covered, who is responsible to make the modifications, liabilities for not complying, and more.  Learn the differences between State and Federal Laws, and discover how to avoid broker/agent liability as we dig deep into actual cases for real world application.
